Is there any way to code the BONG to an 07 335i?

Is there any way the BONG that the idrive has, and all post08 cars have can be coded into an 07 335i with non idrive? Maybe with an autologic or something?

Why would you want it? People pay money here to get rid of it. But I'm pretty sure you will need to code it.

Get this instead, it's cheaper.

Ah, sorry for making fun of you then
I'd assume it's the part of iDrive system then. I have '07 too but with iDrive and I have the dong sound.

Yes, it was until 2007. Then the 2008 cars, all of them including non Idrive have the bong sound.

Also interested. The bong is much more pleasant than the older chime.

I would pay good money to get the new chime as well, couldnt we just replace the "logic" board that has the new speaker on it with the old one?

I too would add a bong but I figure the way I drive the water would spill and make a mess around where its mounted. May also be illegal - certainly as a permanent install.
