installed both bumper plugs and blackline tails today.

very happy with both mods..

bumper plugs took a minute literally and the taillights took about 30 mins.

thanks to longtran for his DIY thread for blackline taillight installation. it was really helpful.

so yeah heres some pics of my car and its only 2 weeks old and im inlove with it.

removing the stock tails.

thats it. waiting for black kidney grill to come in.

blacklines ftw! FYI, you might want to consider leaving the bumper plugs off and having the holes just sit there. Honestly, it's less noticeable that way. I ran plate holes on my bumper for more than half a year, and no one really noticed unless really pointed out.

Dude.... Thanks for sharing the bumper plugs! I've been dying to take off that front license plate bracket. Now i can......

When i ordered the car I told them not to put that on and they did. They promised to change my bumper.... I don't plan to hold my breath on that promise, I'm still waiting. Got my car at Life Quality BWM in Brooklyn, NY.

all u need is to drill the holes to 1/4" and you just push the plugs in. took me a min to do it.

thanks for noticing that. i didnt even look at that as my eyes were focused on the blacklines the whole time. took my car in for detailing today and ill ask the dealership about it.

edit: just called the dealership and they are gonna check it out and call me back about the right muffler.

the only time i got tickets for front license plate was in LA when i had my a3. for 2 years no tickets up in the bay. *knock on wood..

btw i love the blacklines. its mos def the first upgrade to get if u have an e90.. quick and simple. theres so many 3 series out there on the street these days and this mod just makes ur car stand out more.
