TSB: CCC Loss of Audio and CID Blanks OUT

My car is most likely experiencing this problem right now.

The navi screen is off and there is no radio working.

Has anyone had this problem, if so was this the solution?

Thanks alot!

Although it may come back after reset (car in sleep mode or simple key off and back on) it is a software issue. Need to be reprogrammed with ISTA/P 2.35.1 or higher (2.36.0 is in field now).

HELP!

Hello fellow BMW owners(with idrive issues)

Your help and feedback is appreciated...

I am also experiencing the same issue with my idrive... blackedout display, no audio, controll knob spins freely.

I saw a similar post mentioning something about the CCC being out...what is a CCC? how do I determine what is causing this problem?

Again, thanks in advance for any recommendations/help

I fixed this by purchasing a new CCC computer and then paying bmw to reprogram idrive. Not fun at all. 1500 dent in my wallet!

"Car Communication Computer"? "Communication Control Computer"? Something like that. It's the brain that links all the sub-systems of the iDrive together with the user interface (screen and knob).
