Fault Codes
I got the SES after I left the dealership a few weeks ago and is as follows:
Undefined fault code 474c 4D16 DeNOx system, efficeincy Im going today to my mechanic since we reset it before but I want to make sure its the same code(we wont reset this time) before i drop it and the dealer, any advice. I beleive is the NOX sensor AGAIN!!!!!

My mechanic bought the BMW Program cost him somewhat $10k with the laptop.
I took my car yesterday and BMW said there was NOTHING wrong with my car, they could not replicate the same codes and the reason I know they did drive my car was that the odometer reset had 14 miles on it and i religiously use it to measure MPG(I had done 125 miles on a qtr of a tank) to a tank full so they must of floored it hard cause the fuel gauge had moved a notch or so. This has me worried but the car is running better no indication on paper that any reproggramming was performed either the tranny issue or battery recall.

PR, they probably reset it. You can get generic unit and read when was the last time the CEL was reset. That will give you good indication.

Ok amigos I got the scoop the urea injector was CLOGGED even though I use additives the mehanic showed me and strongly as uggested I keep using additives and run the hell out of it here's the pic w a WHITE CHUNK of urea

Sorry PR, but what does the use of additives have to do with the urea pathways getting clogged up? Or did you just put those two things in the same sentence for convenience?

I beleive what he meant wad if u use diedel additive cleaner it would help take the possibility of the urea from crystalizing earlier I hv over 27k in my car but I still got I might of prevented it by using diesel stabilizer I frankly don't know at I managed to c the problem most of us wll encounter in the future

ok amigos the car had been running fine until TODAY that damn SES came back up Im getting a little PISSED off on this will drop the car tomorrow until I can get it fixed!! I want a damn loaner!!

that's what the dealer did with mine too...they also used it as an opportunity to bill BMW for repairs that were unrelated to the fault code. Of course the fault code was back the next day.

I called my mechanic and he will call the BMW General manager that happens to be his best friend to get this sheit sorted out will keep u all informed!!!!!!
