Can Anyone Help Me With New Issue??

So what can cause car to attempt to crank but not turn over. I parked and turned car off and not 1 min later I tried to start car and was attempting to crank but wouldn't turn over.

Tried multiple more times with same result. Has never happened before.

Im hoping it will spontaneously fix itself while I eat dinner!......if not going to have to get it towed.

All I saw on dash was exclamation mark sign but no specific error codes.

Any ideas guys???

Fuel pump. May be the one that is low pressure in/near the fuel tank (I believe there is one).

Had to get it towed hope all it is is fuel pump. Don't want it to be fuel injector or carbon build up issue.

happened to the x5, it was fuel pump related (not the pump itself) fixed under warranty

Prob was a faulty ground wire within fuel pump...replaced at N/C.

So, I am driving my car home after not having for entire week and I get a DSC fault!...

Turned car off when I got home and re-started and DSC error still present.

Sometimes you gotta wonder if the dealerships do this kinda stuff on purpose...

So when you get a DSC fault, should the brake light go off on dash also???

update: there was nothing wrong with my DSC...they didnt reset alignment sensors properly and this was cause of DSC error.

At least it wasnt anything serious.

DSC errors can clear on their own once the symptom that triggered the DSC fault is resolved.

Example, I had a flat tire. Rotational difference caused DSC fault and disabling. Once tire was replaced and car was driven for about 10 miles, DSC fault cleared itself.
