I felt pretty lame at the last event not being able to do a line locker. Cant imagine going to another event without lsd. That's like going to bunnings and leaving empty handed. |

After only having my car for 2 months, im looking at:
Tune (probably JB4 with MHD) Catless DP (have BMR sitting at home waiting) Inlets (probably VTT) CP (probably ER) Exhaust (still doing research, but would love Akrapovic Ti system) Last edited by R32GOJIRA; 10-06-2015 at 04:13 PM.. Reason: Typing error |

I can understand the attraction of doing the exhaust but your other mods also call for an upgraded intercooler before that.

However this is my daily driver, so it wont be under constant high loads, just the odd sprint here and there. But the intercooler will be on the "to do list" as well. Just not a high priority. |

Should definitely be a high priority. The stock intercooler is pretty marginal even on stock power, on a tuned car you only get 1-2 full throttle pulls before you start to heatsoak and lose significant performance. Saw it at the dyno day, a 335i went from 240kw- 225kw after 2 runs

To receive the benefits of inlets, you will need a custom tune/backend flash to target 18-25psi across the rev range.
Doing this on a stock intercooler is foolish. If you want to squeeze every last bit of power out of your N54, you need to be FBO first, then look at inlets/turbos/PI etc IMO... unless you're a baller like Socket you do everything at once |

To be Full-Bolt-On used to be considered (1) catless down-pipes; (2) upgraded intercooler; (3) upgraded charge pipe; (4) upgraded diverter valves or blow off valve; and (5) upgraded intake. Then appropriately tuned to take advantage of the new hardware.
Once/if proven, upgraded inlets may one day be added to the list.
