Quick procede question

Thinking about picking up a new Procede from the classifieds.

Only catch is the unit is for a A/T transmission and I have a M/T.

Will I be able to use this unit for my vehicle, and/or what needs to be done to it in order to run it? Do I need to update the maps, or need to send it in? Any help appreciated!

No PROcede is just for AT or MT. All you need to do is download the appropriate firmware and maps online. Depending on the version,v5 or v4, the PROcede may be vin locked. If it is V5 then its likely vin locked unless the seller has gotten it unlocked (unlikely). Contact Vishnu. Or visit http://procedetuning.com/BMW/n54/dow...downloads.html to download.

Thanks. Its a new unit. Not VIN locked.
