Software update for M57Y 11/09-08/11
I was in for maintenance last week and my SA told me there was a software update for my car.
I had the 11E-A03 done a few months back. The paperwork states: j# 4 01bmz0013130200 Prog OBD Warranty a software update is available for the DDE digital diesel electronics for monitoring exhause gas recirculation EGR and selective catalyst reduction SCR. this service action involves E70 and E90 cars with the M57Y produced 11/09 thru 8/11. obviously I haven't noticed any changes in the car. but wanted to share, as it'll add some time to your appointment. cheers
