I've just stumbled aross this site whilst looking for info and have got to say I'm impressed with what you've 'dug up'.
I'm on the waiting list for the Saloon/Tourer brochure, which is due at the end of this month, but wondered whether anyone has managed to appropriate an electronic copy? If not, then is there anywhere I can see all the options (and what is standard) for each model? Apologies if this info has been posted somewhere already but I wasn't able to find it. |

I did see that - I do like to look around as opposed to just coming straight in with a question as seems to happen a lot on different forums I post on and it annoys me. Unfortunately that doesn't appear to have the model I'm interested in (320d SE) so I'll keep my eye on the site for any news. Cheers anyway |

Standard features and options can vary by target market, and I imagine you'll need to await official word for your specific country. There has been an online version of the brochures posted on the BMW DE site (in German): Saloon (E90 Sedan) Touring (E91 Wagon) There are some matrices for standard/optional/not-available in those documents, though they may not apply where you are located, and may require some translation work to decipher. --LR

I know it is a very old thread, but I can't find this information anywhere: what is the official manufacturing date of the first LCI models? I found on wikipedia that it was from september 2008, but I have found a car from August 2008 manufacturing date, LCI.
Does anybody know? Thanks. |

They started building mine on the 14th of September 2008. I believe it was in the third week of production so August 2008 would be possible.

Interesting reading through this thread and comparing it to comments on the F30. Clearly BMW gets results from their new 3ers even though they don't seem to be all that great at first.

So true. Someone even went as far as saying the old iDrive knob was better. There's some comedy in here
