Looking for Tuner in SW MI or Northern Indiana

I am wanting to do a tune and some light (pun intended) modding on my car. I am completely new to this concept and also realize that while good at a lot of things, I really ought not be doing anything to a car myself beyond cleaning and driving. Is there a good place where I can sit and have coffee whilst my car is handled with kid gloves by a pro?

Also, my car is still under factory warranty and has CPO...should I even do the tune?

What I have:

2008 335i Sport Package
Xenon Self level lights

What I am thinking:

JB4 with plug and dual cone intakes
Angel Eye Upgrade
Fog Light Upgrade

Do I need the BMS oil catch can with this set-up?

Thanks

Hey

With the JB4 and other tunes like Cobb and PROcede you can simply install them and the run the appropriate maps that come with them based on your modifications.

They do not require any special tuning, although it is an option if you want to squeeze out the last drop of HP depending on your setup. I recommend "pro tuning" for those with full bolt on modifcations, i.e. intercooler, intake, and downpipes or for those with methanol injection or e85.

The BMS OCC is a good modification to have. If you have any questions we are an authorized dealer and also familiar with other options that you may find interest in. We are very familiar with this car, and the options and parts available.

I always appreciate the option to be educated on different tunes. I guess I was not totally clear in my request. Is there a shop in my area that I can take my car to have the JB4, Angel Eyes, HID Fogs, DCI and oil catch can installed while I watch and learn? Thanks

I'm in South Bend. I have done my Procede, meth kit, and custom computer module that integrates with the BMWs computer network system to display oil and water temps on iDrive.

Glad to have you stop by and chat about what you want to do and give you some pointers.

Jim
