FORD sounds like they have got you covered. if you continue to have your repair work out of warranty, do you put the repair money up front and they reimburse you. or does the BMW shop accept payment directly f/ FORD.

That means that everything is covered except the components listed as exempted. They will also cover high tech items such as NAV systems whereas BMW wont.

Why the hell are you talking about Ford, and why do you have your address listed?

Because I'm trying to help smart members save money on their extended warranty purchases. I'm not affiliated with Ford or any warranty companies, I'm just a happy customer that has saved money going the ESP route before and will not hesitate to do it again.

Did you by any chance googled my "home" address?

They pay the repair facility directly with a credit card.

I hope you read this, as a lot of what I have read in this thread is NOT true.

I was the second owner of my car and I purchased the BMW Platinum extended warranty. I paid around $3500 for the 7 year 100,000 mile.

ALSO, you can call around to different dealerships to get the best price. I am in Houston and the cheapest price I found was BMW of Dallas. I just called them and bought the warranty. I had 49,000 miles on the car, but they had no idea what the mileage was. It could have been 55 or even 60,000 miles. I bought it over the phone and have used it several times at the BMW dealership in Houston.

My experience so far, worth it.

This is a 5 year old post, dug up by a spammer to sell his warranty companies services. Per the link above.

Edit: looks like the mods have removed it.
