1000th post

Jesus, 1000 posts since I joined in October 2008. Thought I'd mark the moment with a speech of sorts.

I came accross e90 post when trying to get my head round the fact I had two cracked alloys on my e90 330d. What started with me taking them to court and bailing out before it got costly, eventualy ended up with me on Watchdog with some great support from you guys. And finally got my cash back. I'mnot after any plaudits, a certain DR should get them after spending £7k on Mira reports.

The 330d went in October 2009 after 3 years and 90k miles and it has to be said that my enthusiasm to get a 335i was generated on this forum. Despite the problems with it, its a cracking drive and I've no idea what i'd eventually replace it with.

Along the way I've been to 3 meets, NM2, UK8 & UK9, and met some great characters.

This place is just plain crazy, informative, hilarious, tedious, and frankly addictive, and I think I've only upset one person along the way (you know who you are!), only had one warning (cheers to a ceratin mod). There are loaded members who change their cars almost monthly, and those that arent who cant, then those that mod, those that lurk, those that post insesantly, and those that dont, yet there is hardly of the bullshit and one upmanship that could so easily happen. And if you buy a different marque it only adds to the debate.

The Ryanair thread was a highlight for sure, if you missed it, you need to read it!, and long may the puppies thread continue

...I replaced mine with an E90 330d - doh
