my navigation/radio/screen/everything stop working. and I found some company that can fix the motherboard of my CCC unit. And they said I need to go to BMW to get it reprogram. So is this coding for it? Instead of going to BMW to pay tons of money?

Your SP-daten is updated? It seems that your files are too old.

Yes, probably you will have to code your CCC, you can do it with OBD K+DCAN cable.

Thanks again for your help. I have updated my SP-Daten files with version 49 from the link that you sent me. Everything works fine apart from I am unable to read 6 of the modules. CID, EKP, EPS, MCIC, TCUM, ZBE. The only one I am really disappointed about is the MCIC module, as I was hoping to enable the automatic day/night mode for the SatNav. Do you think that it is possible that I require an even later version of the SP-Daten files?

Sorry, but I don't know, last time I worked with E60 and I couldn't read MCIC also, I don't know why, really.

I don't think so, but try to find it.

If you have OBD cable maybe I could help you remotely via TeamViewer.

Can someone help me with corner lights on a E9x and/or a E87?
I'm searching for days now but I can't find any working information for the (N)FRM module.
Can someone tell me what module version is required and what the right codes are?

Thanks in advance.

What is the production date of your car, and what are you trying to do? Active or deactive? Is it US or EU car?

Hi I'm a newbie as well.
I have 2009 e92 335i xdrive.
I've always wanted to get rid of corner light but cutting wires were out of options.

It seems like I finally found a proper way to mod my system but I am overload with all these information for past years.

So would it be alright for me to ask you if there IS a way to delete my corner lights and enable movies in motion?

I will go through 200 pages to dig up any information that people have talked about IF someone can tell me there is an answer.

Thank you so much in advance,

But I am not sure if it work, when my mirror never goes down. it doesnt matter if I have mirror on left or right

try to move in the opposite way the switch that allow you to change the setting of the left or right mirror, and then try reverse, should work.
then you can code.

I followed the method courtesy of the BMW Coding forum, under the Wiki tab. It was straight forward and really easy. All it requires is NCS Dummy and Expert.

Have Cobb installed. Was reading NCS DIY guide. I assume if I reset the ECU (one of the steps in the guide), it will undo my stage1+FMIC setting from Cobb and back to stock?

Was trying to get started with coding.

You mean seatbelt butlers?
I did it many times and always worked.
As a last resort, you can remove the fuse.

Are you sure that the changes have been written in NFRM module?
Maybe you use wrong profile in NCSexpert?

Yes, I meant seatbelt butlers. I guess that changes have been written to NFRM module because I disabled windows safety feature in NFRM at the same time and it works.
I will try again today. Anyway, thanks for confirmation.
