Fitting M3 seats
Seat change.
So just a theoretical question at the moment, but having sat in the excellently supportive M3 seats, the 335's seem lacking in lateral support. Does anyone know how much and how difficult it maybe to swap to M3 seats up front? |

I can't really say I've noticed any improvemnt in the M3 seats over the 335i M Sport. The leather is much nicer in the M though.

Should be no problem at all, it may not be plug and play on the spec of your current seats compared to the m3 but it can easily work. Could also be relatively inexpensive if you sell your own interior for a good price

Didn't Tony (e92fan) do this?

I have a pair of fox red, powered, non-heated E92 M3 front seats for anyone that may be interested. Here's my sales thread:

As mentioned, Tony (E92Fan) has done this. If it's for the same chassis (as there's a difference between the E90 and the E92/E93 seats), and the options are identical, it's basically plug&play. Otherwise some seat modules will have to be changed and some cabling & coding has to be done.

I want the m3 seats for the nicer leather, and extra support. A full M3 interior has come up for sale with door cards etc also in good condition and the seats are heated.
Since my 335i seats are electric, im sure there will be no issues there but my 335i seats are non heated. Will I need more then just the heater buttons for the dash panel? |
