328i muffler delete
Hi I'm new to this forum and I have a 2007 328i and I was wondering if the muffler delete is worth doing over spending more on just buying exhaust? From the videos I've watched I love how the muffler delete sounds

I wouldn't do a muffler delete - it'll be loud and it will drone, and you won't like that. On a 328, an aftermarket muffler with a better sound would be relatively inexpensive as compared to the 335i exhaust system.

Please don't delete the muffler.
Get the BMW performance exhaust if you enjoy the sound. |

When it's activated does it still go through the tailpipes? That sounds like something a friend on his car in the 70s! He pulled a cable to open it and pulled another one to close it.

If the BMW performance exhaust is not in your range you can always try the AA signature exhaust

Look at it this way - the cheaper the muffler, the sooner you'll have to replace it again. BMW Performance Exhaust and several other aftermarket mufflers are stainless steel, a much better way to go on a BMW. Also, look in the "for sale by owner" section in this forum - that's where I got my Dinan Free-Flow exhaust for half-price with only a month's use on the two mufflers.
