Buying a 2008 e90 335xi

So I am buying a 2008 e90 335xi from a friend, and I just wanted to see what you guys thought about the deal. The car is fully loaded with sport, cold, and premium packages, navigation, PDC, and just 35,000 miles on it. I know mods dont necessarily help the price but it has M3 front bumper, BMS DCI, and CF trunk. I agreed to just pay what he owed on the car which is $26,200... what do you think?

Its not CPO, but I am thinking about buying an extended warranty, what is the general price range to pay for that?

Thanks

It seems a good deal. I paid a little more than that with 40K, 2008 as well, but is a coupe. Also bought the extended warranty for $4,200, hope it help

Why don't you talk to one of the Finance and Insurance guys at your local BMW dealership (not the sales guys) to see if they would be willing to do a dealer pass through sale.

Basically, it's like the dealership is selling you the car even tho they don't own the car yet... and your friend is giving them an instant buyer (you). The benefit for the dealership is they can sell you additional products and sell you the "CPO" warranty/CPO inspection (1 hour labor) if you want it and any CPO deals they have going on (Those are all profit for the dealership). You could also buy the Wheel and tire warranty as well if it has the stock RFT's. Everyone wins, plus if your friend is getting a replacement car at the same time... then he can save on the taxes for the purchase price of another car.
