The best kit by far is from Sonic Tuning; it's very reasonably priced and you can't beat the light distribution, it's very bright and evenly disbursed. I kept going back and forth on what kit to get and I'm so glad I went with Sonic Tuning. A lot of the kits out are way overpriced and the fitment is poor but not with this one, you can't go wrong.

They're in the US aren't they? Do they ship to the UK and did you have to pay import duty?

Yes it is very easy to install them, there is a very good writeup in the DIY section explaining exactly how to install them. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=273231 Just make sure you pay careful attention to the ones it tells you to disconnect the line completely to avoid blowing a fuse. Also, I found it easier to remove the visors to install the front domes. All you have to do is remove the clip that holds the visor nearest to the domes on either side (they have a tab that holds the center of the headliner up) and release the clips holding the front light assembly in place, it's much easier then trying to release them through the sunroof.

I'm in the U.S. but I'm sure if you get in contact with them they can help you with any questions.

There is a genuine BMW LED kit now available too. It's about 60 quid.

Doesn't include all the LEDs though, you still have to source a few separately
