BMW North America warranty

Has anybody had to deal with trying to transfer warranty from BMW NA to Germany? I bought the extended warranty to cover the car up to 100,000 miles now I'm heading to Germany and BMW NA said the warranty won't be honored in Germany. I bought the car through European Delivery two years ago. Thanks for any input.

Yah J BMW NA is right warranty won't work in Germany. I just picked mine up as Im living here in Germany and I only get 2 yrs unlimited miles and no free maintenance..... but once I leave here and ship it to the states I get the remainder of the 4yr and free maintenance. I know it sucks don't it. You should be a ble to cancel the warranty and get prorated back the difference I would think.
