Visiting Montreal
Hi guys,
I'm hoping you guys can give me some recommendations. I'm visiting Montreal this coming weekend and I want to know if you guys have any recommendations on places to eat and must see. I'm a huge foodie, so I want to try stuff I definitely can't get back home (NJ). I already know I have to get some poutine, I just don't know where exactly the best place for that is. Thanks inadvance for any tips or recommendations. -Ryan |

Not really. I'm just looking for places that are a "Must Eat" Something that I know I can't get back home or something that is unique.

On Smoked Meat : Schwartz's on St-Laurent:
Don't forget to ask for lean meats (des viandes maigres) when you order. ...they taste better in my opinion..... Last edited by clairvoyant; 03-18-2013 at 09:14 AM.. |

Bars/lounges/clubs close at 3
As for food...definitely Schwartz for smoke meat, I'm not too crazy about the place but there are always line ups. I honestly don't really like Le Banquise for poutine but you should try it. I would also recommend you try out the poutine and orange juice at the Orange Julep. |
