BMW Tuner Shops in or around Baltimore
Hey guys, I have tried searching but dont come up with much for shops around Baltimore. Anyone know of any good BMW specific shops in the area for aftermarket tuning/installs?
I live right over the PA line north of Baltimore. So far the only thing I could find is Helix in Philly. I know CBRD Speedfactory is in York, PA but I think they mainly focus on Subbies and EVOs. Thanks in advance

Induktion is near by in Severn, MD. There's a lot in Balitmore area but that's the only one I know.

What do you need installed. The tuning of this vehicle is simple enough for 2 year olds to do. Its either PNP in the ecu box or pushing a few buttons for a flash. Im sure someone local could help you free.

I am mechanically inclined, built my jeep from the ground up. I am technically inclined, I work in engineering for video intelligence and UAVs. I have never ventured into the german motor sports area though. I think my main concern would be suspension and exhaust type stuff. I do plan to do everything I can myself, but if I am iffy on something, its a rather expensive vehicle I don't want to screw it up. Honestly I am very excited to meet other bmw people though and learn as much as I can, was just looking for something I dont feel I could do.

I know Mach V in Sterling, VA does work on 335s. It would be a bit of a drive from Baltimore, but you could cross with 70 West, I think, and then shoot down 15 South into Leesburg, VA.
I believe there is an install party happening at Clem's on 6/18. You could check that out and meet some other locals. Send him a PM if you would like to go.

I am actually curious too. I have done all of my own work so far. I did visit Helix and picked up my IC there. Nice guys but it's a haul. I checked out CBRD the other day. It is primarily for Sti/EVOs. One of the guys there gave me a tour of the place, but the owner never came out to meet me even though the place was empty. I thought that was odd. Then I sent an e-mail to the owner about getting some simple Dyno pulls and he never replied. I got the impression I was being snubbed. Oh well, their loss. |

Custom Performance Engineering (CP-e) is in Beltsville, MD which is not far from you. Great products and a great install shop.
Mach V is in Nova....they also are a great install shop and doing more and more Bimmers. Ask for Dan or Darren.

+1 for Clem.
He did most of the stuff on my 335 and is the only person that touches the M3!

CP-e is a little far for me.
I am thinking about going to JE Imports this week for some dyno pulls. They fabricated the first single big turbo setup for an n54. Where is Clem?(s?) |

GT Performance in Edgewood is excellent. They are mainly Porsche but also do alot of other highend German brands. The have extensive race knowledge. I drive over an hour to take my car there. There prices are also very competitive.
