Khoalty actually sells the switchback in 7507. Their lights are 120 LEDs ! So 60 amber 60 in white led at 400 lumens. Sounds pretty good to me. Both bulbs are only 25 and both resistors are 9. I think it's a good deal. I am going to check my turn signal and make sure the bulb type just to be safe and might go with khoalty http://www.khoalty.com/bmw-e46/led-bulbs/led-switchback.html

^hmmm I'll call and ask them before my order ships.
I went with the 21 LED one that uses larger, supposedly brighter LED chips. Stock 1156 is 1.04 inches in diameter and 1.77 inches long. The ones I got are 0.8 inches in diameter and 1.88 inches long. Idk if so, but I think my bulbs will just reach farther into the actual headlights |

Btw, to those looking..
1156 and 7507 are equivalent except for the nubs in the bayonet base. The bulbs will not fit in each other's sockets, but you can interchange 1156 and 7507 bulbs if you file off one of the nubs. 1156 has nubs directly opposite from each other: 7507 has nubs offset at an angle: It was mentioned earlier that one could "modify an 1156 to fit." ^that is what you need to do. |

Got my lights and installed them today. Its really bright outside still but already I can tell these aren't as bright as my stock halogen turn signals. They're not horribly less bright, but its certainly noticeable.
I have my car coded to not check for resistance in my turn signals so I cut the wire for my the load stabilizers that came with them, and they flash at the same rate as stock. They fire and shut off very quickly, which is really what I was aiming for. I'll post pics / night time photos and maybe a video too. |

Cuba, thank you for your order and review!
If you guys still need help sorting through all of the bulb info that's out there, feel free to PM us or email us and we'll be happy to help you out! We know there's so much confusion surrounding E90 bulbs. It's mind boggling haha. Have a great night! |

I think this is a pretty interesting answer. Also, ddmtuning has a bulb w/ 60 3528 LEDs that puts out 420 lumens. I'm giving it a go for my rear turn signals. I wasn't a huge fan of the ijdmtoy ones (i think only at 360 lumens like the modmy3 ones), so I might do a comparison when they arrive. |

Finally got my ddmtuning lights in today.
They're just as bright as the halogens. Love them. Actually planning on picking up a set for the front turn signals now. Definitely brighter than the ijdmtoy ones. will try to post pics soon |
