2007 335 e92 cruise isnt working

The cruise control isnt working in my 335i. The command screen shows that my cruise has been activated. However, the little indicator around the speedo doesnt move and the car doesnt maintain the speed. I dont believe its the lever since the command screen undicates that I activated the cruise control so i was wondering if anyone knew what the trouble Might be?

The lever can be pushed forward or pulled backward to set a speed. Does it not regsister regardless of which way you move the stalk?

Did you press the DTC button? If you have DTC on or stability control fully off, the cruise control won't be activated.
