Precision Racing DTM ring kit review

Hey guys,

I tackled the DTM ring kit over the weekend. Install wasn't as bad as I thought it would be to be honest. Scariest part was putting the headlights in the oven. I used Satin spray paint for the inner housing. Sanded the housing down with 1000 grit and it came out pretty good. Also Robert from PR replies within hours which is great.

Any daylight pics of the car ~20ft away from front? Also, is that eyelid necessary to hide wiring or just a cosmetic choice?

Did you epoxy the rings DIRECTLY on to the shrouds?

first i thought DTM would be tacky on our cars. After seeing yours I think I will go for DTM instead of rings. It doesn't look tacky but it actually adds a bit of taste in it. I'm in for daytime, further shots too!

i tried to order but says out of stock. i emailed them and they said they have a better design coming out in march. no drilling, no gluing, fits like oem, no splicing wires and more leds of yet better quality than the originals. just thought id share

Have to drill into the plastic removable ring which are behind your angel eyes

I believe the new design is out. But I don't think PR is ready to release to the public yet. I'm sure they are testing it completely before releasing it.

FWIW, my car (the white one above), I used ebay rings, cell phone pics. they are hell lot brighter in person.
