Maybe some people feel that having a third party warranty is better than having more power? You seem to miss the fact that not everyone wants the most power they can achieve and have other priorities when it comes to tuning.
Yea he sounds like a

Hey Eric,

Quick question for you: What gear, and at what altitude was the run at?

I compared it to Dinan's numbers and it looks like you're putting down about 30hp less than they claim.

The reason I ask is that I noticed a 8hp difference between 3 and 4th gear when I put my stock '08 e92 on the dyno.

(The other thing I noticed is that Dinan's stock numbers are close to 20hp HIGHER than mine... which is depressing)

my SAE numbers are 267.9 rwhp and 289.6 rwtq on dynojet. I've notice that my torque numbers are higher than most stock. any idea why?

I am new to tuning (not to bmw cars though), but after reading the forum and details about the tuning options...I must say that Dinan is the way to go.
warranty, safety, ethics, morals, future R&D and future tuning options look best with Dinan.

also, does anyone know if the other tuning options do the same as Dinan engine management (ie increasing water pump speed)?

No bashing intended...just new to tuning and trying to be neutral and honest.
