Lowering my 2006 325I? Need help...

I want to lower my car. Is springs enough? Or do I need to invest $2500 on a whole new suspension kit. I dont want to be bouncing around everywhere???

Don't go cheap on your suspension. It's going to cost you more in the long run if you are trying to save a few bucks. It happened to me when I modded my 98 Honda Civic and I'm set to take delivery of an E90 in about 2-3 weeks and I plan on doing everything right the first time around. Not only are you saving yourself from a bumpy ride, but your going to save time, a lot of hassle and money. Do it right...if you don't have enough to do, save up for it and then do it.

A good quality set of lowering springs like the Eibach Prokit will work quite well as an economical way to lower the vehicle. You'll also have less body roll, less pitch and dive from braking without bouncing around like a civic on cut-springs.

Well...I never had cut springs on my Civic, but the ride was still bouncy w/ just springs. Make sure you get quality springs AND shocks. I got e-bay lowering springs for like $30.00 and it sucked! Then I got H & R Race and they were better but very bouncy on factory shocks. I then upgraded to Tokico blues and it was still bouncy...finally I got Koni adjustables and combined w/ the H & R it was much better. All I'm saying is...get quality name brand aftermarket parts and do the springs AND shocks instead of just springs...you'll save money in the long run and be much happier in the end.

there is the eibach pro kit springs with FSD shocks which is cheapest bet.... then you can go Sportline springs or H&R Race springs with Koni yellow shocks, then after that it is coilovers.... KW, H&R, Eibach.....
