I need this to upgrade my sound system on my pre-lci e90
I also need JL Xd 600/6

Are you going to do the installation yourself or use a friend/shop? I have the base stereo and was looking to go a similar route as you, although I'll need to replace 6 speakers, add a center, something like the MS-8 and possibly an amp. I used to do all this stuff myself many years ago on lesser cars. These days my time is worth more than my money (barely) and I hate the idea of pulling off door panels, etc. on my Bimmer.

I'm definitely installing it myself with the help of threads here and with the help of fellow e90 post members.
I no expert on cars but I've managed to do a couple of things myself.
and it saves money
how are you going to install?

Just saw this, sorry for the delayed response. No decisions yet on upgrading at all, or if so who will do the installation. I'm thinking about suggesting a stereo install party at Clem's.
