Is this an easy switch from CCC to CIC? plug and play or will it require coding, etc.
Also... will the controller fit into a CCC trim?

CCC to CIC -> physically plug and play, require emulator and coding. Not difficult

Controller -> Will not fit the CCC trim, its a different shape. The controller itself is compatible with CCC though

I have got the trim from Getinq, so, even if I haven't changed the actual CCC unit to CIC unit, I can still use this controller with the CCC without doing any coding?
If so, I may be interested in it.

also, when I eventually buy the whole CIC unit, does it normally come with the controller?
If so, maybe I just wait and do the whole conversion later.

Thanks.

Does anyone know if E90 console trim is the same size as E92 console trim? I'm guessing no?

CashedUpBogan They should be the same. Don't you have a e93?

E90/91/92 are the same, obviously being a 93'er you'll realise you're special!

Hahah thanks guys. I'm aware my E93 trim is different. Was just curious. I need to hack up my CCC for BNT retrofit and then need to send it off to get CF skinned. Was considering just buying this if it was cheap enough and hacking it up and cutting shit out (including roof switch) as it wouldn't matter how rough the edges are is it's being reskinned. These are everywhere and much, much cheaper and more common than E93 ones.

OP, how much are you chasing for just the trim?

hacking a e90 trim to work with the switch you will need to think how you will hold the roof switch in place as the prongs wont be there to screw it in place.
