Catch can

I know N54ers have been complaining about oil in their charge pipes etc... Is a catch can necessary on N55? If so which brand do you guys suggest?

The BMS N55 kit isn't quite released yet. They are getting close, but it's lots of machine time for the bracket and required fittings. You guys will love the kit when released though!

Yes, if you'd like to pay for it and wait you're welcome to. Or you can wait for them to release it before ordering.

Thanks, it would be nice if they stated that the N55 isn't ready yet

Thats typical for any turbo'd engines due to the higher pressure in the head, the vapor has some oil and is fed back into the charge pipe through the vacuum line...

Ya and the higher boost levels you run from tuning, the more pressure in the head will cause more oil to go into the head and lead to more oil getting into the charge pipe. So its definitely a good investment and easy to drain every 6 months or so rather than having to clean out the charge pipe, intake manifold, etc
