sony xplode auto off problem

i have a sony xplode in an 07 gmc truck. has worked correctly for 3 years. now it wont shut off as before. i have to turn it off then back on when entering vehicle. i have the manual but all it states is to turn it off to activate. ive done this. in the menu screen its got off, 30 seconds and like 1 or two mins. i made sure its on 30 seconds. ive also took face off and reset the unit. still not working properly.
