Where Are Speakers 9 & 10?

Hello, I just purchased my first BMW, a 2008 328i. I don't know a lot about it yet other than I love this car! The original invoice (I bought it used) says it has a 10 speaker audio system, but I can only find 8 speakers. There are the triangle tweeters in front, the front door speakers, the rear shelf speakers and the two under the front seat. So, where are the other two?

There isn't a center speaker nor any grills on the dash.

The rear shelf speakers are component, so there are your 10 speakers.

oh, mine has a center dash speaker and grill. i have logic7 tho

You got jacked, they took out a couple of speakers. I have heard the happening to people before. They sell the speakers on eBay.

if you have logic 7, then there's 2 speakers on the driver & passenger door, 1 on each of the rear doors (if a 4 door) or on the rear panel of a 2 door, 2 on the back shelf, and 2 underneath front seats.........

Great info! You know when I first got the car (CPO) the salesman didn't know where all the speakers were either. He didn't even find the two under the front seats. I found those afterwards. I did look at the rear shelf, but without taking off the grill (didn't want to go there yet) you sure can't tell there are two speakers under each one. Really appreciate the detailed diagrams.
