Passenger Seat not going back & forth--09 328xi

my passenger seat no longer able to move back and forth. It moves in every other direction but back n forth now. i took it to Motorcepts in Queens and all they were able to tell me is that its a motor but have been told by other people its more than one motor.. Anyone able to point me in the direction to get this fixed without going to the dealer. its for an e92 328xi

There are many motors in a seat, but only one controls the back and fourth. The motor is in the lower trac and must be seperated from the lower cushion. Confirm first it's not the switch, it could be in the module, not the motor.
