330i intake manifold questions

Currently have a 328i e90 and just purchased the 330i intake manifold from a buddy of mine. What else would I need to install? Heard swapping to the 330i throttle body would give me more gains but also more problems so not trying to go down that route. Any suggestion on other mods to add along with the 3 stage manifold? For people that have this done did you notice a noticeable diffence? Just want some more power out of this car

I am planning to do the same...also swapping to Euro airbox and reprogramming ECU to 330i spec to take advantage of DISAs...reprogramming is less than $100...

The mod can take your motor to 250HP. Maybe this is the first thread to read about it: http://forum.e90fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=1095889

U can also do either BPC or AA tune for about $600...I'm gonna try out the 330i spec reprogramming first to feel difference...

From others' experience...BPC gives more high end torque while AA tune has more lower end and street friendlier...

I thot about AA headers but not planning any track time, worry bout CA smog, and need a reliable daily driver ...I was DDing a 993 and needed the trunk space out of the wagon

Does that mean one should go for the AA tune over BPC if one only DD the car and never tracks it?

gonna let other's chime in here...but I did some exhaust mods on my 964...when I swapped out my primary for free flowing...I noticed power increase on the higher end/speeds...and slight loss on lower...

think it all depends on ur driving style?...higher end torque/power is probably more suitable for track I wud think as I hardly go over 100mph on the fwy...

going over 60mph on local wud be unimaginable where I live...

I have a euro intake, rev hose, 3IM, AA tune and it's not bad, definitely moves a little quicker. The next most cost-effective mod is probably the MILVs. After that you could delete secondaries and get a PE, and then maybe do headers.

BPC gives you more TQ down low and is better for street driving. New AA tune is smooth. Both yield same top end power.

We will have a "stock" tune that will enable the 3 stage for any 328i/325i etc. available in the near future - cost? 0$.
