Help needed with angel eye led bulbs.

I had the installed by a professional and when only the battery is on they work fine but when the car is powered on they flicker. They suggested it was a bad ballast? Tried two different brand bulbs. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What brand and were did you buy them. They will work fine on battery only but when you start car they are controlled by the footwell module.

it is normal for led angel eyes to flicker just on start up for 5-10 seconds

Mine too. I changed mine about 3 yrs ago and I noticed they also flicker on start on.

I wonder why the angel lights ones that came with car never flickered and the replacements do? weird. It doesnt bother me much but its kind of akward...

After they flicker they completely turn off.. Will a local bmw dealership repair this at a charge? The dealer i bought my car from is out of state so I'd rather not go all the way back for a problem that I could fix locally. Any ideas if the dealership doesn't do it of where I could get it fixed?
