Anyone access to Glasses guide

I'm wanting to get a feel for the value trends of my 2008 X5 3.0sd. I have paid for the Glasses Premium Valuation therefore have a pretty good feel for its value but my question really is the trends over the last few months, is it dropping or rising, and by how much. Might help me decide whether to move it on now or not.

Not glasses but the Cap guide if it's any use.

Garage List
Do you think that CAP is recognised and can be used as a bargaining tool woth other dealers. My car came in at £9,000 trade-in clean and Audi only offered me £7,000 the other day which was a bit dissapointing.

They look at the guides then knock a bit off and then make allowance for their refurb costs - the last bit is the one that annoys me as they effectively allow warranty costs and all prep work in there. That should be their cost after they pay you market value for the car unless its a real mess and needs excessive work.

Prob is they can't pay u mkt value for the car as that by definition is the price the mkt will support, so if they buy it off u for that price then zero in it for them.

Either way tho... one thing to be guaranteed - when its px time, they will pull your trousers bend u over and no lube .... won't even spit on their hand to lessen the pain!

Why is there zero in it for them, they pay me trade, they charge retail and the large gap in these figures is their profit!!
