After my money?

I bought my BMW used approved a year ago. Came up for a service recently which I took it in for. It was just that, an inspection no oil change etc required. Anyway I handed over my cash and drove off. Just over 1000 miles later I've another service due message from the computer. Doesn't say anything needs changing but it's annoying nonetheless. Anyone else know why that should happen? I'll be giving them a call but just thought I'd ask here first.

Just found out it was an m.o.t service which hadn't been reset after my m.o.t at a local garage.

Thats the way the service computer works on the car. Was the inspection you had done in relation to an MOT?

Did they reset the service item that you had done?

If it was an AUC I assumed you had your MOT done by BMW and they forgot to reset it?
