Final Price depends on Sales Tax + Dealer Fees in your area...
Go to BMWUSA.com and build your car on that "Build Your Own" feature write down or commit to memory all the options & packages you like. Then take a look at BMW's confidential wholesale pricing sheet listed here http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=394728 take the Base Price for your car add + delievery charge + training fee + all the options you want to get the total price you should pay for the car Then go to dealership an offer them $500 to $1000 over the total you got from invoice total (bare in mind there are other hidden fees based on dealership) Example: Base Price + Delivery + Training = 40K, offer the dealership 40.5K then you might end up paying 43K because of 2K in sales tax and $500 in dealer fees (MACO, Tire Tax, Doc Fees etc) Then go to your local forum (Alabama) and see what the dealers in ur area charge as far as additional fees and how much they take over invoice

I paid invoice + $500 "dealer profit" + $380 MACO + $180 training fee + 8.25% sale tax + DMV fee + $55 document prep fee. That's it. MACO and tax of course vary from region to region, but $180 training fee is the same across the country, if I understand correctly.
I got the invoice from CR, but you might as well get it for free from edmunds.com. The numbers are the same. BTW, I got them to throw in a set of all-weather floor mats and a trunk liner for free w/o any hassle too. Don't forget those before you sign on the dotted line. Dealers will give them to you if it helps seal the deal. Just wanna save you some research time that I've had to do. Last edited by JakeN5; 12-03-2009 at 02:33 AM.. |

Thanks for all the info. As for the $1500 Holiday cash, that should only be subtracted at the end after I've negotiated a price off invoice, since it is a manufactor to customer incentive, correct?
