How long would I have to wait?

I am going to be in need of a new car for September for school. I plan on ordering an alpine white/coral red with options. My question is how long do you think the wait would be? I would like to know so I know when to order. thanks.

Well first off what model? It all depends on your options etc. If you want a coupe or not.

Coupe will take longer especially a 335.

2-3 months, your dealer will give you a better time frame. JSpira will recommend you a good dealer in your area.

get a civic, it will take a few hours, it will be cheaper and you won't care about the dings, scratches and college kids barfing inside...

this is the worst time to order a 335 coupe. Dealers are hardly discounting them. 500 to 1000 off msrp is not great. Im glad i ordered mine in sept 06 for 1000 over invoice. if you plan to lease it you will def be paying over 700 with no money down. Plus the rate went up to .00200 now

Not a bad idea for his situation. Or if he has to have a bimmer, get a used 325 or 330.

If you don't mind waiting/reading, research European Delivery.

^ i understand that would be a good experience, but it doesn't look like it would save me that much money. And considering am still young (19) it would be a difficult task for me.

have your tried to first look for an AW/coral 335 coupe? thats what i am doing, i am in undergrad like you, and want my car before classes start in the fall...so by sept. at latest. You might get lucky and find what you want at a near by or far away dealer and have it shipped to ya...just a thought.

You had better order it now if you want it by september. BMW shuts down for 2 weeks in august so you will be looking at early october. If you got a good deal you would be looking a 0 down $700 month.
