There is a very small amount of drone around 2K RPMs but its not that bad, after u hit 2K+ theres like no drone and the sound is amazing when u hear it pass by. I let my friend drive it so I can hear the exhaust and it just sounds AMAZING!

Well idk if id call it a catback, cuz all I had replaced was right were the muffler begins.

I like how the PE sounds as well, but the AA has a more deeper sound which sounds better in lower RPMs IMO

Thanks, and I am guessing thats why you opted for AA over BMW PE ? I am interested in PE and was planning to get BMW PE. But even AA looks like a good choice considerin the fact that its almost $400 cheaper than the cheapest BMW PE
Any other differences you noticed ?

I am not sure about the BMW PE, but when I got my AA exhaust I noticed a pretty significant amount of power increase. I went with AA because not only its cheaper and sounds better, they specialize in BMW. Its not an exhaust thet a company makes that fits on any car. AA's exhaust is specifically made for each model. Also, AA exhaust comes with adjustable tips which is a nice feature to have.

I understand AA makes products specific to BMW engine types, which is great. But performance gains on 328 i would doubt

I am not a tech person but would like to know if there is any difference between AA and BMW PE , or is it just because of the name they charge more ?

This is called an axle-back, definitely not a catback. You ill still have your stock mid-pipes, resonator etc. An axle-back is essentially a muffler replacement.

A catback is a full exhaust system. A full catback system for our cars will set you back 2k+.

How are you managing to get a "small" amount of drone? From what I have heard and from my personal experience the exhaust gets boomy at 2-2.5k, far from a little. I like the sound a lot though outside.

Do you know about how many miles the break in period is, roughly?
