Hey Everyone,

I know this isn't an Audi forum but I recently picked up a 2004 S4 with about 67k miles on it for $16k. Anywho lets get to the main point last week my esp light was coming on randomly every once in a while and once I shut off the car and turn it back on the light would turn off. As of today the MIL or engine malfunction light came on. I looked it up on google and it seems that it might be a problem with the sensors or something. I called the dealer and they said it should be an electrical problem with the sensors and said it would cost about $120 for them to diagnose. Looking on other forums its seems that with a vag-com I could simply plug it in and find out what the problem is so I can save myself the trouble of spending another $120 for some pointless check that could take a few minutes. I was wondering if anybody on the board has one of these vag-com plugs and is willing to help me get a diagnosis on my car. I will happily get you a starbucks giftcard or something if you can help me out.

thanks everybody for the help but johnny was able to refer me to a friend of his that was able to hook it up for half the price of the audi dealerships.
