How much you want to spend? If you want the very best, AR's probably. If you want the best value, VRSF's

Don't waste your money. Remove exhaust and atmospheric dump right after turbo. That's the best.

For quality and fitment ar design is the #1 choice..

VSRF are very popular as well and I have heard positive feedback from many customers on them.

You're new to this I understand, but like every1s said just Search "Downpipes" and you'll get about 8 billion threads asking the same question. I'll tell you the main companies that are available are Active Autowerke, aFE, AR Design, Cp-e, Macht Schell, PLM, Riss Racing, SuperSprint, Ultimate Racing, and VRSF

If you really want to see specific differences between them, Google it or go to the N54 Turbo Engine Section... This is probably the 5th time this week I've seen either a DP or "What tune should I buy" thread. If you have enough intelligence to post a thread, you've got enough intelligence to troll the forum and get some answers

Everyone will tell you AR is the best, and for the price they are nice, but for the money buy the VRSF DPs and you'll have money for a tune or DCI. When you look at them, there isn't much difference. They are a full 3" all the way to the 60 mm flanges that bolt to your stock or aftermarket exhaust. I'm running them with my stock exhaust. I also kept my secondary cats in place because I live in a county that does testing every 2 years. I could pick up 10 to 20 RWHP by changing that out, but it sounds really nice just the way it is. PM Tiago@VRSF. He can help you out. You can also look at this latest review on line and see some pictures of the VRSF DPs.

VRSF downpipes + ETS cat back exhaust = pure sex!!! (with VIDEO)

Funny how newbies always ask these "best xxxx" questions without doing some research. It's even funnier when people repeated themselves to answer over and over again every week.

Anyways...
Looking forward for "best dci" thread...

Arguable... but I guess it depends on what your definition of "best" is.

Akrapovic - only DPs with a flex section, expensive ~$1600
AR - perfect fitment, excellent fitment, ~$800
AA - some people had issues with fitment in the initial batch, only DPs with support braces (these help keep the DPs connected to the car if your clamp breaks off from over tightening, ask me how I know), ~$600
VSFR - cheapest set at ~$385. However some people have complained about their raspiness. I suspect from thinner wall thickness.

Performance wise, all of these options do the same thing.
