Got a 06 330i and kind of wanting a 335i :(
Hey guys after starting to be on this forum so much im really regretting getting my 330i and really want a 335i am i crazy lol i just like the fact since the 335i is not n/a its so much more responsive to mods i think once my m3 front bumper, side skirts, and lip come in im going to save them and sell my car and get a 335i honestly
Dont get me wrong my 330i is a fun drive but its not nearly as torquey as my frineds 335i and i hate it ive been a mustang cobra owner all my life and this torque is just not cutting it :/ |

I took the chance when my e90 328i was totaled to upgrade to a 335i.. I've never looked back, I absolutely love the power the n54 makes. Just be ready to be hands on with maintenance.

Maintenance, buddy...only thing that's holding me back from getting a 335. The only time I'll get a 335 is if it's under warranty.

If itll be a CPO or new car (or an extended warranty) I would definitely get it! If you know a lot about cars then that's fine as well but maintenance will kill you!

Best of luck! I dont mind the 330i as a first bimmer, good place to start! Looking forward to an upgrade in the future make's it exciting! N/A cars are actually very good! If you're friends 335i is an 07/08 ish model then the hpfp is def going to empty his wallet soon! But of course it all comes down to money so, if you've got the money to spend go for it!

yea i think its a very good bmw and especially mine i got it one owner from a doctors son that went to the military with 50k only for 15.5k so i got it for a steal and its literally perfect paint and inside 10 out of 10. But i know if i dont get a 335i soon Im just going to mod the shit out of this lmao i already had it for only 2 months and i literally with wheels and tires and grill and the total paint correction spent over 2.5k and now with the m3 front and lip and side skrts that was another 2k with paint and all lol its getting reckless |

I had a 330i and did just buy a 335i. Don't think about and just do it. Torque plus another 100 ft/lbs via Cobb, JB4 and others. steve |

While the power is great, the amount of problems and maintenance is freaking insane. Get ready for ignition coils, turbo seals, turbos, injectors, fuel pumps, oil leaks, dirty intake valves in DI motors, charge pipes and much much more. I would keep the 330i

You did DRIVE your 330 before you bought it, right? Why was it good enough for you to buy but not good enough to keep?
Oy, the "problems" we have to deal with in this country of ours. |

The plugs/coils are easy and cheap to change, and if you get a relatively good car with low miles, the other problems shouldnt exist if you take care of it properly. Things happen, but thats the price you pay for boost lol I have an 07 with 38k miles, and in the last 8k miles i have replaced the spark-plugs and a single coil, plus an oil-change. Thats it. Nothing horrible, and its an 07.

n54 is enough reason to switch, but you should have tested both before you bought it.
If you dont take a bath selling it, then go ahead but if the difference is huge...Love what you have |
