this is increible I take my car for service yesterday because the AC was making a noise, I ask the dealer for a loaner expecting a crappy focus or PT loser ( that's what I allways get ) or a miracle such as another BMW and guess what I got !

a Chevy Silverado

and is not the small silverado is the big one 4 door pick up truck with a 6.0L V8 !!

not something that I was expecting from BMW.

the car bring old memories back since my first car was an SUV

it also makes me remember why I trade it in I have spend over $60 in gas in 2 days

I hope I get my car back tomorow, if not I will go and trade it in for something else. my wallet is not happy

when bmws are out of the option as a loaner car, i think most of the dealers in sofla (cept vista, they've given me bmws 100% of the times i got my car serviced there) have some kind of thrid party car rental services when it comes to loaners...

Yeah my dealership takes care of me, i always get BMW..


and 3 of the 7 times my car was in the shop, they gave me brand new cars as loaners...i break it in properly for them...

There has to be some type of recourse you can take from having to pay more for fuel in the loaner compared to the vehicle you brought in. I find that somewhat offensive.

I'm a little torn about this... yeah, it sucks that they give you a gigantic truck as a loaner which swallows gas like crazy, but it beats walking, right?

import BMW uses enterprise. the advisor told me that they only get 6 bmw per advisor, so early appointments are the ones that get bmw's. I used to go to pembroke pines BMW that is like 10 mins away from were I live and they SUCK !!! they did not repair anything. then I decided to go to FT imports that is like 25 mins away and they do an excelent job, however they are allways giving me a crappy cars.
I never been in Vista is like 45 mins away.

W/ the dealership here, I make an appointment a week in advance - then they set me up with a BMW. Anytime sooner, no-go.

I have good experiences at Lauderdale Pembroke. The sales guy Parris is good to deal with. The service is pretty good, I have good luck getting things replaced with my CPO. There parts department stocks more than alot of dealers I visited, but have to special order things most of the time, unless you want cool shirts. Something to consider, if you special order a part, and it is the wrong one, they charge a 20% restocking fee. However, Amanda hooked me up with an $18 hat to make up for my $6 dollar loss. That was cool. Bottom line, my experience is good and I would buy another car from them. Hope this helps.

Funny you should mention Parris, he was our CA up here years ago. Great guy who really took care of us. I'm almost certain he left my dealer because he wanted to move to FL.
