I order my cable should be here soon I want to start downloading the software but I'm not sure which computer 2 use. I have an old dell inspriron 1100 running windows xp or a acer aspire one running windows7 se. I'd rather run acer it small faster better batt. more dependable. I searched but could not find any info on use windows 7 starter edition to code. any advice is appreciated

Windows 7 starter edition is 64 bits. It will not work as you need to run a 32 bit environment.

thanks for the quick response. the version of windows 7 se that came with this netbook is 32bit. I dont know if its because of hardware limits or MS trying to sqeeze every last penny.

Then it's perfect. That's what I use. Windows 7 32bit
