Question Springs = :] in the future?

Been doing some research on lowering springs and I am getting mixed info from people and forums. I need to shave a couple inchs off the car so I figured, Eibach springs, keep it simple

Here is some of the stuff I am hearing from others though...

1.) Youll blow out your suspension eventually
2.) Ride stiffness goes up like crazy
3.) Without the rest of the suspension system changed out, your just asking for trouble down the line
4.) The change in your camber is going to be drastic and eventually break your suspension at the seams

etc etc etc! :

Oh and I'm driving an 06 330i E90 (Like a lot of guys I have seen post here); and if you guys have the same thing and lowered it, throw up some pics! So whats the real truth here? Can I get some advice from peeps that have just gone balls deep and done it? And any automotive guys have a good answer or truth for me? It will be a few years before I pick up my next car so I need some help now!

Just put these on today, I like em but I dont love em. May end up selling them for another set.

The HR's and 19's make the ride a little rougher over bumps, but that's to be expected with lowering springs, regular driving is great though, i get a bit of rub if i hit something a certain way.

The spoiler came off a vendor on ebay, i have a link in that thread to another thread with my experience. The actual thread is in the cosmetic forum. $100 painted.

i forget what they advertise for HR sports, but it had to of been pretty close to that though. Definitely wasn't 2 inches though, that much will look pretty sweet but it's gonna impact daily driving unless you have good clearance and even then with just springs and not a coilover you will be riding pretty close to your bumpstops most of the time.

I have heard the eibach's drop is less than the HR sports, are you already on a sport suspension or stock. Eibachs on a car with oem sport wont drop much at all.

H&R Sports are a good choice, they will lower the car and firm up the ride but are designed for regular street use.

I am looking for the same thing here... I was mentioned by a friend on the forum to get the Eibach pro kit vs the sport for it lowers less.

Here is what I am looking for: something that stiffens the car up, making me able to corner faster and come out of turns quicker. lessen roll or sway. but not stiffen the ride up to where it is uncomfortable to drive since it is a daily driver. I have the sports package on my 06 330i. again, I dont want to lower much at all. I already scrape on my driveway every now and then and dont want to increase that. main thing is the new springs not rattling my teeth out on the normal road.

with that being said what would yall recommend? I don't want to spend an arm and a leg either. do you recommend Eibach since they are progressive not linear? or the H&R? or something else?

any feedback is appreciated. also, thinking of a stress/strut bar for the engine bay if anyone can point me in the direction of a cheap one. all added with the mods I currently have listed below...

thanks

if you dont want to lower and want to reduce roll and sway coming out of corners... have you thought about sway bars?

I have not thought about those actually... I know little to nothing about them. want to fill me in? would those combined with a strut/stress bar make handling a lot tighter?

How will the sway bars affect the daily driving? and where is a good place to look for those? that aren't too expensive

and its not that I dont want to lower the car at all, just not too much, since I already scrape enough.

I say get the eibachs for the E90...from what I've seen, the drop is better than on the E92...yet not too rough like H&R's...
