short shifter

Hi,
can someone advise what is the best short shifter out there as i find the factory shifts toooooo long.

bmw sales person told me that with the performance shifter I would not gain much shorter rows, more precise yes. I would like really short and precise, :-)

You don't have many choices for the 335 and the BMW Perf SS is probably the best bet.

Rogue Engineering pulled their SSK
UUC has an SSK for the 335 but it's expensive and it sucks.

B&M has one that's affordable but I don't know much about it.

I went with the BMW Perf SS but have not installed it yet.

I bought the one listed for the e90 330i and it works fine. No need to spend an extra $175 for the 335i option.

I got a BNIB BMW perf shifter for less than $200 on the FS Forum....

I think the carrier arm is the other part....it also comes with the cup section.

Nice piece.

I could swear that Dinan offered a short shift kit but I can't find it on their website. You could give them a call......

I've never seen one but here it is, and priced competitively to the BMW Short Shift kit.

I don't see one for the E90/E92. It does look like they have one for the 135i however.

Yeah, very weird. They show 3 different models but do not identify which cars they go to. Might be a discontinued item.

i got the b and m and i like it. good price easy install. not sure how to explain the feel but i would think notchy/mrchanical more precise
