Testing subs

Hey guys,
I have the odd suspicion that the subs under my seats are not working on my Logic 7 Hi-Fi stereo in my 06 E90. Whats the best way for me to test them out?

Turn up the bass and put your hand on the grille. Should be easy

Play some barry white
Of you can't hear his voice, then yours subs are shot

Play some somewhat low test tones.

move the fadar to the back and to the right or left. Play some good bass tones and listen under your seat.

Okay so I actually just moved my seat to the rear and placed my wife's stethoscope over the speaker grill. They do indeed still work. They are just so damn faint. I will be heading to my local car audio store in the next few days to price out an aftermarket sub and amp for the trunk.
