Okay so I have a 2011 BMW 328i coupe lci and it's been sitting for a while due to a front collision, now that I am fixing it. I was able to fix the entire front end. But my car sounds like it wants to start but doesn't start. Maybe a low battery? Combustion problem ? I've tried starter fluid and no start... I have half a tank... any hints guys ?? [IMG][/IMG]

Bad starter? Have you tried reading codes?

Did the car run after the front collision? How long is "a while", 6 weeks , 6 months a year? Is it cranking at a good speed or week? Did the front end work require any new engine parts? Read the Codes...... |

yes, it's just been sitting ever since the collision but no engine damage or frame damage or air bags deployed.
Been sitting for around 1-2months. It seems like it's cranking pretty strong at a good speed. I can hear it wants to start. Only parts I've bought and needed - fan shroud, radiator, radiator support, and condenser. Really nothing else major or electrical.

Pump test ? How is that performed ? Or did you mean the compression test ? Front end collision. You know what there's actually a lot of fuses missing according to the original options I have on the printed fuse map. I had some mechanic look at it he says the battery is dead. I'll keep it posted tomorrow once I replace it.

Yah you're right. I'm thinking of buying that BMW Carly device . Maybe that'll help a lot on the long run.

Good call. It's actually was the battery voltage not meeting up with the specs of being above 12v. It's running good and all now
