Throttle Body Swap ?

I am currently doing the 3-stage intake manifold swap. When I received the 330i intake, it came with the DISA valves and the throttle body.

I checked and the throttle body part number is different than my 325xi. Does anyone know how it's different? Bigger mouth? Might it be better to swap to the 330i throttle body?

Measured the 330i, it's 77mm dia.

The parts numbers may be different because of a different revision. One of the throttles may be newer. Look up both part numbers on www.realoem.com to see if one of them was superseded.

328 TBs are around 77mm diameter, pretty sure the 325 is also the same.

thanks for the feedback. I will compare them when I pull the 325 TB out. I didn't find any superseding for the TBs.

You are correct, sir. And, the harness socket is different, so I kept the 325 stock TB.
