Where is the Connected app in iTunes?
I downloaded what I thought was the app but it turns out to be something called "Explore Connected Drive" which seems to be just a spiel about the system - there's nothing to activate?

Here is a link to the BMW Connected app:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/bmw-c...406975118?mt=8 When you go to this page, it may automatically open iTunes. If not, click on View in iTunes. Last edited by jzj; 03-29-2012 at 11:12 PM.. |

I think internet service is a separately priced item from BMW. It doesn't use your phone etc. for internet but goes out, I assume, through their connection to car. I think it was 199 a year so I didn't bother and don't know anyone who has used it.

You need the cradle to get the "IPod Interface"
The regular cable works for most things, but in order to get the IPod Interface you must have the cradle, then go into PlugIn under connected drive. This then brings your ipod playlists, genius selection, etc.
Its at the end of the following video: |
