I am thinking about picking up a BMW performance exhaust from the USA and fitting it myself. Has anyone got any experience in doing this, or can provide a "how to" guide? Car is an N55 e93.

you can if u have an exhaust cutter. id just pay 80-100 to get it professionally fitted. Its a pain in the arse as the stock exhaust is quite thick.

I fitted mine myself it was a PITA on jack stands!!!

When you have it on a lift with easy access with dedicated air tools its much easier and easily worth paying $100-$150.

Does it being designed for LHD (USA) require any modifications to the PE for it to fit to our RHD cars?

I'm thinking of picking one of these up from the US as well to match my AR DPs...

nope no difference.

The us systems have no cold start silencer 'valve' whereas the EU systems do (AUS delivered cars have this valve fitted)
